Welcome!

Strength, Beauty, Athleticism, Intelligence, and a special Elegance, mixed with a personality that enjoys human companionship. These traits describe why we chose to breed the Straight Egyptian Arabian horse.  We are dedicated to preserving the heritage and traits of this beautiful breed. We maintain a high standard of quality through careful selection of pedigrees and conformation, as well as personality, and are honored to have the opportunity to enjoy these gorgeous and talented creatures. Many of our mares and stallions have proven themselves in the show ring as well as in the breeding shed. Our offspring have found homes around the globe.

We are proud to present our horses to you. Thank you for visiting and please enjoy our site!

Links to our Programs

We are deeply committed to the care, health, and welfare of the Horse. We offer programs designed to teach riders/handlers of all breeds to better understand and respect the horse in its natural state.

Kids-4-Horses

The Arabian horse is an extremely versatile breed, talented in many different disciplines. In addition to breeding, our horses work in our other programs as well. Our Kids 4 Horses program teaches children about the horse and horse care, from the ground first, then to riding. Our horses love the camps and lessons as much as the children do! This program is run by Jillian Whitlow. Please visit at Kids4Horses

New Book Release

Horse Behavior and Communication

Through the last decade of breeding, Marlis has studied the interactions and communication between the horses in the herd. We keep our horses in a natural setting, promoting strong physical structure and emotional health. From her observations, she has developed her programs in Mirroring Equine Attitude (MEA), assisting riders/handlers in improving communication with their horse. Her new book, The Team Concept, Creating a Partnership with your Horse, is based on miles of video footage of natural behavior in our pastures. In the book, Marlis highlights that understanding natural horse behavior is integral to all interactions with the horse, whether riding, training, driving, or just caring for your companion. She takes "natural horsemanship" to a new level and makes it relevant to all horse lovers.

If you're interested in improving your communication with your horse, please visit our sister site www.mea-way.com. The book is available on the products page until December 15, 2009 at pre-publication prices.
